About: When I'm not volunteering at Maker Faire, I'm the Chief Publishing Evangelist for O'Reilly and Program Chair for our new conference, Tools of Change for Publishing. I've also worked in the editorial group at O'Reilly, and I co-authored "Google: The Missing Manual." Pre-O'Reilly, I was a freelance journalist and a regular contributor to The New York Times. I was also a program founder for Just Food, a local-food-and-farms non-profit, and co-founder of Two Tomatoes Records, a label that distributes and promotes the work of children's musician Laurie Berkner.
