About: Mandy Khoshnevisan is the director of The Un-Scripted Theater Company's show "The Great Puppet Musical." She's an improvisor, actor, teacher, singer, craftster, and all-around Working Artist. The Un-Scripted Theater Company is a Bay Area nonprofit that provides exclusively improvised performances: handcrafted theater. Un-Scripted is made up of some very crafty folks who are also actors, teachers, playwrights, musicians, graphic designers, filmmakers, and programmers. Their shows, rehearsed with the precision of scripted theater, include short-form comedic improv, as well as full-length improvised plays and even musicals. Over the past five years, they've created shows including: improvised romantic comedy ("Love at First Sight"), horror ("Fear"), adventure ("Supertrain"), film ("The Impossible Film Project"), game shows ("You Bet Your Improvisor!" & "Improv Survivor"), Shakespeare ("Improvised Bawdy Shakespeare"), and musicals ("Improvised Sondheim" & "Let It Snow! An Improvised Holiday Musical"). "The Great Puppet Musical" is their first full-length puppet venture. They made the puppets themselves.
