About: James Horecka is a licensed architect practicing in Winchester, California. He also holds a contractor's license (20 years). A "Maker" since childhood, he has created many odd works, including (among other things) several small paddle-wheel boats (one powered), and a demountable ridable backyard roller coaster. James prefers art that includes experiences in both space and time: kinetic art that itself moves (mechanized), and/or larger constructions that one may move through or upon. Most of all, he enjoys the "process" of Making.

Puppy Mover Monorail
It began as a joke, but it became a whimsical work of kinetic art, that's also a working, five-car monorail train serving some surprisingly well-behaved puppies.
